I am pleased so far with the iodine protocol but I want to go one step further and check my thyroid. Many years ago I asked my Dr to check my hormones and he said everything came back normal. I suspect he did the incomplete testing. I have a history of cysts in the breast and utero and have experienced hair-loss for many years now. This seems to lessen with the iodine protocol. I have a tendency to be cold all times and before starting the iodine I was really fatigued and started taking naps even in the car. I have regain most of my energy with the iodine but I continue to be cold especially in the mornings. I would like to test my thyroid. I checked the files and see there are several companies I can order the tests online. 1. Anybody knows specifically which tests I need to order? I am not sure what I am looking for .... 2. Anybody has ordered them online and can suggest a company? Of course I need to pay these tests on my own, I am not sure my insurance would cover them and I am not sure my Dr. would understand what I want anyway, I don't want to order unnecessary tests....
