Agnes-- Very glad to hear you're doing better.

There is hardly any idoine in that product. You need Lugol's for effectiveness.

150mcg is .15mg, 1/15 of 1 milligram. So you'd need 45 drops to equal 1 drop

of Lugol's 2%.

Yes you can paint his toenails with iodine. For this situation I would not use

a

carrier oil. (But I don't know whether any results will be obtained with the

product

you have)

Yes, you can paint your breasts. I did, and that's part of why I got well. Use

a

carrier oil (with Lugol's). But the product you have isn't going to do much.

We

try to warn people not to spend their money on products like that because it's

not going to satisfy the milligram needs for iodine therapy.

Oh but-- if you do paint with this product, you don't need to use a carrier

oil--

there is so little iodine it can't react with the skin.

My husband has the same thing. One thing we're trying now is using the blow dryer on the nails to kill the fungus. No results yet, but we just started.len From: agnes9971 <agnes9971@...> iodine Sent: Thursday, March 1, 2012 7:11 PM Subject: Liquid iodine forte

My father seems to have nail fungus on his foot. I just bought liquid iodine forte from Biotics Research. 1 drop has 150mcg iodine. Can I paint his nails with it to cure him? Shall I paint em directly or use coconut oil as base?

Also, shall I paint my achy fibrocystic breast with it for relief?

I have never done it before so I need some guidance.

Thank you,

I use SSK iodine but Lugols should work as well. I first paint the nails

infected with DMSO then apply the Iodine.

If it the fungus is well intrenched you may have to do this daily for months.

My new nails came in clear and normal.

Good luck,

Well as I said, it takes 45 drops of what you've got to equal 1 drop of Lugol's

2%, the weakest strength. Normally I'd say 1 drop of Lugol's per toenail,

pretty

much. That would go through that product pretty quickly and probably won't

absorb, so soak the nails with what you've got. Is it all of his toenails or

just

some? Because 10 drops of Lugol's would be a lot to start with if someone

hasn't already been taking iodine. But also a 10-drop equivalent would be 450

drops of that product, which of course won't absorb into the toes. Just wet

them

down with it. You don't have to be counting drops with this product, just be

liberal with it.

With breasts, I'd suggest starting with 1 drop equivalent (45 drops), then

moving

up in drops depending on how you're feeling.

These guys have a good toe fungus kit, it worked for my Dad, when nothing else

they tried did:

http://www.jltindustries.com/products/bath-and-body/

Sorry for the OT, will hush now, but I know that can be a very frustrating

problem.

I would be inclined to try Lugol's mixed with castor oil, myself - the castor

oil would help to really soak in and not evaporate, and it has amazing

properties on its own.

DMSO (DIMETHYLSULFOXIDE), it helps carry medicine through the skin.

It costs about $10 per pint. Acouple of drops on each toe nail is enough. I

also rub it on my knees with Lugols.

My dad's went away when he was doing 200-250 mg of Iodine for 10 weeks. He also got rid of his tooth pain on the right side. He hadn't been able to chew on that side for 3-4 years.
