The percentage of women who experience breast tenderness after starting iodine have all found it to be temporary condition-- in the patients enrolled in our database. The fluids in fibrocystic breasts contain a lot of potassium. It appears that, as the bromide and other toxins are displaced, an irritation is caused by mobilizing the fluids. As far as progesterone goes, Linn is on the right track. Remember that progesterone supplementation builds up in your system. Medically, progesterone has what they call a long half life. It stays in your body for a long time. Your body accumulates what it doesn't use in the cells.Progesterone and iodine have been demonstrated to be synergistic--they boost each other.Hope this helps,Lynne FarrowDirectorBreast Cancer Choices, Inc.A Nonprofit OrganizationP.O. Lynne,Thank you so much for the in-depth clarification. I do feel much better staying on my usual 12.5 Iodoral dose and got more relief from breast pain and swelling after some cardio exercise. AgnesSent from my iPadOn Mar 2, 2012, at 1:11 PM, lynne <lynne2349@...> wrote:
