Guest guest
these are my latest thyroid numbers: TSH 2.63 (0.35-5.5) Free T3 2.46 (2.3-4.2) Free T4 0.6 (0.8-1.7) Is it possible that taking iodine and l-tyrosine alone may get my thyroid numbers back up, or do i also need to take dessicated thyroid? i would much rather heal my body by adding the ingredients that it needs, than taking additional hormones. has anyone had their thyroid numbers come back to normal by using iodine alone? i am only up to 1/2 drop of lugols a day (i am very sensitive and have been detoxing like mad), but the change in my energy, brain fog, and mood has been dramatic. i am so looking forward to getting to higher levels. thanks, barry
Guest guest
Half a drop a day is not much at all compared to a 50 mg table of Iodoral. Somewhere there is a conversion chart, maybe in the files section. I was going to make some Lugos and then saw the comparison, and I elected to stay with the pill/iodoral. robert from Columbus > > these are my latest thyroid numbers: > TSH 2.63 (0.35-5.5) > Free T3 2.46 (2.3-4.2) > Free T4 0.6 (0.8-1.7) > > Is it possible that taking iodine and l-tyrosine alone may get my thyroid numbers back up, or do i also need to take dessicated thyroid? i would much rather heal my body by adding the ingredients that it needs, than taking additional hormones. has anyone had their thyroid numbers come back to normal by using iodine alone? i am only up to 1/2 drop of lugols a day (i am very sensitive and have been detoxing like mad), but the change in my energy, brain fog, and mood has been dramatic. i am so looking forward to getting to higher levels. thanks, barry >
Guest guest
,When I figured the cost difference between Lugol's and the pill form, Lugol's was about 1/5 the cost for the same dosage. You have to figure out the cost per unit and then make a determination of which is less expensive. in Alaska On Sun, Feb 19, 2012 at 1:59 AM, robertfeb <robertfeb@...> wrote: Half a drop a day is not much at all compared to a 50 mg table of Iodoral.
