i just wanted to thank stephanie for starting this

group. i am only up to one drop of lugols a day a day so far, but i

cannot tell you the difference it has already made in my life. without this

group and your encouragement, i would never have had the confidence to so this.

i just wanted to let you know that i was desperately ill, doctors could not

help me, and you have, in a way, saved my life and i will be eternally

grateful. i can only imagine the recovery that awaits me as i am able to slowly

increase my dosage. barry

you can read about my symptoms in my prior post. i have been trying to get well

for years. i have tried everything. i have been eating healthy and gotten as

alkaline as i could for a long time now. last april i removed nine root canal

teeth from my mouth, as i heard how bad they were for your health and what a

burden they can be on your adrenals, as they are always infected. once mms

(miracle mineral solution) proved promising, but i eventually got very sick from

it and ended up with two inch and 1/4 " gallstones as a parting gift. i recently

had to go in for bone grafting in my mouth so that i can get implants down the

road this year. i really went downhill after the surgery. i have only been on

one drop now for two days. i had to begin at 1/10th a drop of lugols a day, i

was so sick. i have been on iodine now since feb. 8th. it has taken me this long

to build up to one drop a day. i am taking it slow. i hope to get to either two

drops of lugols or one tablet of iodoral by this weekend. you know when

something is working. i could hardly get out of bed every morning and was

sleeping 10-12 hours a night. now, i jump out of bed in the morning, without the

terrible sinus congestion and heavy feeling in my head. i'm back at the gym once

again and can attack it as i used to be able to do. before, i could barely drag

myself through the machines. i still sweat a bit in the evenings, but not

profusely. boy, did my body ever need this iodine. my free t3 and free t4 were

very low. (free t4 was .6 with a range of .8 to 1.7) and my free t3 was almost

at the bottom of normal range. i have to believe they are improving, but won't

know for sure until i retest in a month or so. i would really like to avoid

taking dessicated thyroid if i can. i am hoping that iodine will bring me the

recovery that i am looking for. time will tell. barry
