200 milligrams (mg) or 200 micrograms (mcg)? I am guessing the latter since 400 mcg is considered the upper limit for adults.

NO! It is 200 MCG NOT 200 MG. And 400 MCG *is* the upper limit for adults.

Please don't shout at me.

200 - 400 micrograms is the recommended range for everyone. You should not go beyond 400 mcg (MICRO grams) as an adult or child.
