Can suggested Lab Work be done in Annual Physical Exams?

Hello,

I am so excited that I found a Dr. from the ACAMnet.org website in my insurance

network! This is the website Dr. Brownstein's office refers you when looking for

a Dr. referral.

This Dr. is 6 hrs away and I will have to drive and stay in a hotel for one

night but I am excited to go to a Dr. who knows thyroid and iodine protocols.

I will do the TSH, T3 and T4 with the online company and take the results with

me. I am wondering if the other exams can be done as part of my " Annual Physical

Exams " ? (I am trying to save $$$).

I am trying to use my insurance to pay for the tests but only tests that are

part of the Annual are covered.

1. Anybody here knows what type of tests are included in the Annual Exam that

can be useful to my Dr.?

2. Are all the thyroid/iodine suggested tests NOT part of Routine

Annuals/Physicals?
