Guest guest
As Kathleen explained, we have a policy here of leaving the old information on EACH and every email because there are 6,000 members here and there is way too much traffic to remember the details of every thread. And none of the moderators or longtime member contributors have the time to try to look through old posts hoping to find the information required to understand a trimmed post. Ain't gonna happen, which means trimmed posts don't get answered. We frequently have new members who suggest trimming posts and we always need to reply to the whole membership that no, we don't trim posts here. If you trim posts, you'll be asked to re-post with the full information on it. We have to have the full history in every email. We know that makes the list less easy to read for digest members, but that's the tradeoff we choose. Thanks for your understanding. best wishes, -- moderator > FIRST, may I say...reading these LONG messages OVER AND OVER is > annoying...
