,Since bromide attaches to the iodine receptors which are on the glands, it would make sense to me that you may not get the full picture from the serum test. in Alaska

I have not been able to find if bromide blood tests are helpful in

telling me whether or not i have bromide in my system that needs to be

flushed out. It makes sense that it would be helpful, unless the

bromide hangs out in my organs, and somehow does not go into my

blood. Does anyone have knowledge in this area? Apparently not,

since I only got one response from my last similar inquiry. Maybe

someone could point me in a direction where I could find the answer.

Isnt bromide testing primarily done via urine? Google hakalalabs and order their

test. thats what I did. I was 93% iodine, but 13% bromine which is above toxic

level.

You need the urine test for bromide which is available with the iodine loading

test.

There is testing information in Item #23 of the Guide to Supplementing.

A blood test is worthless. That's why you don't have good information. Here is

part of #23 but since this pasted badly I suggest you go to the Guide and read

the whole section. Hakala Labs is the least expensive option for getting

bromide testing, but like other labs it must be combined with an iodine loading

test:
