merj & all,

Is it really necessary to titrate up to 100mg daily to detox? I feel really

good at 12mg iodoral, and why would I not detox eventually if I just stayed at

12mg for the rest of my life?

Many thanks,

Grizz

Grizz-- Because of the toxic burden of the ubiquitous halides in our

environment, the correct maintenance dose is at least 25mg, and probably

closer to 50mg for most people.

It will take many years, if then, to detox bromides at 12mg. And you're

constantly being bombarded by bromides even if your diet is clean, because

they are everywhere in our environment. Same with chlorine and fluoride. Not

to mention mercury. So 12mg is simply not enough to actually detox from

halides.

I am not thrilled with having to take such a big dose. The expense of those 50

mg tablets is adding up, for one. But I lose the brain fog-fighting benefits if

I use less.
