Help. New here. Have three issues: Low testosterone, Candida and may low T3.

Now taking test supplement. My question is about T3 and Candida.

Re T3, my lab levels are: TSH: 1.17, Free T3 2.4pg (range 2 to 4 and free t4

1.32ng (range .8 to 1.8). My T3 and T4 look decent, but doc says Im low on T3

and has me taking time release T3 suplement only, small dose at 15mg per day,

taking 7.5mg twice per day. I do have lots of symptoms of HypoT. Question:

Should I be taking Amour which has T4 and T3 or T3 only which he has me on. Im

taking no T4. My reverse T3 level is high at 356pg (range 90-350). He states

no T4 because that will make my reverse T3 level worse. Any words of wisdom

greatly appreciated! Would Iodine along help with my T3 issues>

Candida: Im taking garlic and prescription Diflucan at 200mg/day for 30 days,

and trying to cut down sugar/wheat intake (although I do like beer). Someone

mentioned that Iodone alone can kill Candida. Any advice greatly appreciated!

I’m not

one of the Moderators, just a member. Beer will certainly keep your

Candida ALIVE and present in numbers. You might need to re-think the Beer

with the Wheat and all the Carbs.

We gave up

wheat 3 years ago and feel much better.

If you want

information (or just my opinion) on raising Testosterone you will have to join

the Iodine Off-Topic Group and there is a LINK at the bottom of this email

to do that. We can talk about hormones on that Group NOT on the Iodine

group. Okay?
