iodine crystals and the DEA

I prefer to make my own lugol's for myself and a few friends, but I am

intimidated from what I have learned about government scrutiny of the sales

and manufacture of iodine formulations. How likely is it that the DEA will

make a visit to my door step and want to know what I am doing with my

purchased iodine or want to penalize me for not registering as a distributor

or manufacturer? Anybody have any run-ins with this department??
