Yes you do need to take salt. Your body needs the sodium and the chloride - as well as the other 84 minerals (+) that help to balance out the body.

trace minerals equal to taking salt?

If I take a trace minerals supplement, do I still need to do the sea salt? My bottle says ionic sea minerals from the Great Lake in Utah, USA. Is the whole idea to get the minerals from the salt?I use a lot of salt in my food but I don't like drinking it.Viola

I hate drinking salt water too! but what I do is buy empty gelatine or vege

capsule from iherb.com and fill them with salt and take it like a tablet. I buy

size 000 they're pretty big so you can get about half a teaspoon of salt in each

one. So much easier than drinking nasty salt water :)

If you are taking salt in capsules it's important to drink a full glass of water

with it.

Suppose one uses the celtic salt on their food and drinks 64+ oz of water

throughout the day?
