Hi All,

I just called the doctor for the results of my blood test, and although they

told me that my thyroid levels were high, they did not test for my iodine or

iodide levels. Is there a way to test to see if I am deficient in these?

Thanks!!

Lynne

Hello Lynne,

Please read the Guide to Supplementing with Iodine that you were sent when you joined. If you didn’t save it, then please go to our FILES then New Members Read First then click on The Guide to Supplementing with Iodine. You will find the information to answer your question, as well as many more important answers about iodine. After you have read the Guide, please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Kind regards,

You will want to get these test results because if they are using TSH as a measurement for thyroid health you may still have an issue.

Testing can be done through www.hakalalabs.com - described in the Iodine Supplementing guide.
