Guest guest
Hi, I've looked through the archives and found references to users putting iodine drops into baby's bottle and about doctors in the old days giving babies w/ low thyroid a big dose of iodine, so I'm pretty confident that I could start giving my baby bits of iodine without worry. Does anyone know what dosage, or have a link to a document suggesting a dosage? I did the iodine patch test with my 8 month old yesterday and her patch had COMPLETELY disappeared within 4 hours. I am currently taking 12.5 mg of Iodoral daily (feeling much more energetic too) and breastfeeding. I was thinking I could put a bit of kelp sprinkles into the baby's solid food as well. I've read on here, somewhere, that kelp is not as helpful as Lugol's. But, would it be a better choice for an infant? Thanks for answering my newbie questions - I'm sure I could find the answers if I kept digging in the archives but I'm getting pretty frustrated looking...
