Guest guest
Question? What is more important, your health and ability to care for your child(children)? Or, a career in the military, where they will continue to use you for " experiments " ? This is a question you will have to answer. What if the vaccination messes me up so bad I can't take care of my child (children)then what???? is this something you want to take a chance with? I made my decision after 16 yrs. of faithfull service. I ETS next month, I'm done. They forced me to take the " shots " during Dessert Storm. I haven't been the same since, I get worse every day. My wife has to remind day by day what I'm supposed to do, and I still forget sometimes. It's scary not knowing from one day to next, what to expect from my health. I always expect the " worse " just in case something " else " comes up. You do what you feel is right, think about you family, and what is best for you. There are other careers out there, colleges, trade schools, you can learn another " career " . Do what you must, but think long term also! Feel free to E-MAIL me at: POECHARLIE@... Guest guest
Greg, Anyone who spends all their day in a room without much light will probably benefit from a bright light. My ex is a workaholic CPA and I put one in her office. Humans require bright light every day, about 2 hours of it, to tell the light and magnetic sensing organ in the brain, the pineal, that we are outdoors in the Sun, where we belong. Many modern kids spend all their time indoors watching TV or on a PC, and, as a demographic, many of them should benefit from a bright light. I don't contest that humans need some bright light every day. But, research also shows the other thing I said, namely than any extremely bright light will do. I use a 175 watt metal halide lamp, sort of like an outdoor security light. The bulbs are $20-30 and the one-time cost for the ballast is $63. A coupla buck for assorted extras and for under $100 I have my indoors daylight. I notice they finally have decorative floor & table lamps with 68 watt bulbs, for offices. But, they cost $245 and what I wanted was to stay away from the high costs I associate with full-spectrum lamps, the first of which cost me $350. So, Greg, if you have one, use it! It just may do you some good. jim Crook wrote: > > Now I'm confused. While it is known that many times, light deprivation can be remedied by simply providing ANY bright light, it is also true that the Infrared, Ultraviolet, and Full-Spectrum visible light from the sun have many more applications than simply feeding the pineal gland so it can adjust its melatonin levels. Therefore, if someone can get into the sun, that would be best...and barring that, a full spectrum lamp might not be such a bad idea, providing the person can afford it. Guest guest
Hi Greg, My personal experience is that regular incandescent light makes my head feel really weird and my eyes tire very easily. I have full spectrum bulbs in reading lamps and I feel alot better physically with them than the others. Also. I have some over plants and they do very well with them and they don't do well with incandescent. Don't think it is a placebo effect on the plants. Ha. And if plants do better with them, then people must also. They may not be as good as sunlight, but my experience says they are hands down better than incandescent. But, they are incandescent full spectrum, Not flourescent full spectrum. I would not use those. Just muscle test under them and see if you are stronger or weaker when they are turned on as opposed to turned off. Donna -----Original Message----- Now I'm confused. After reading the books, " Light, Medicine of the Future " and " Take Off Your Glasses and See " (forget author's name), I went out and bought one of those full-spectrum lights for my office, which doesn't have a window. He presents research showing the full-spectrum lights in schools help kids' behaviour and learning. Can Jim or others clear this up for me? Thanks. Guest guest
I wouldn't call it spam. I visited that group and there aren't many posts. Maybe they are just looking for members. Ultimately there may be dollars in it somehow for Sherry and that's ok everybody's gotta make a living, but it lends bias to the group in some way and I prefer this one where it's just people helping each other and nobody gets paid. If anyone sees any spam post a notice just in case the spam got missed by those who can delete it. Everyone isn't on here all the time so stuff gets missed occasionally. What is a 10? A 10 is when you like what you see in the mirror. There is no Barbie standard 10. Everyone's concept of 10 is different. Is your protein powder flavored or plain? The plain kind can be added to nearly anything for a protein pump. Put it in oatmeal after cooking, make fruit smoothies, mix it with milk or about half a box of Jello sugar free pudding mix and eat with a spoon. Mix it with the milk that you might pour over your fistful of shredded wheat. I hope you have lots of success on the program. Hope this helps. Guest guest
Also, I can't find the comfrey gel that I have heard you ladies talk about. Does Rashelle still sell that? She also talks in one part of the website where she tells what she uses daily about a product called Face and Body Glow. I haven't seen that anywhere either. Guest guest
Hi , I need to answer one phone call and then I will answer all your questions. The Face and Body Glow is the Face and Body Wash. You can find it under Anti-Aging skin care at the web site. I will be back in a few minutes to make sure you are taken care of. Guest guest
, I use Night Magic on my stomach (morning and night, dry it with the blow-dryer), just started using it on my face (night). I find it really helps with the stomach bloating/discomfort that I typically get, and I read that Rashelle uses it on her face to " lift " it so I decided to try that, too. I use the Face Lift, not regularly (it's a messy procedure, and I really need to do it before I shower -- I'm really klutzy and manage to get it in my hair and dripped down my chest/stomach area). It makes my face look " younger " -- and I bet that if I got it worked into a regular routine it would work even better (you think!?). And I use the comfrey/aloe gel on my face, on a burn (really took the pain out of a scalding coffee burn that one of my daughters had), or wherever I think a little " extra " help is needed. I absolutely love this stuff! However, like you, I have little notion of what is best or what products will do the most for me -- guess I'll just keep reading everyone's comments and experiment as I can afford to! Bonnie Confused I have been looking on the LL site to see about ordering some of the skin care products. I am confused as to what to order. I have heard you all talk about so many products. What is the difference between Beyond Magic and Night Magic? Which one are you ladies talking about that helps the stomach. What products do you use on your face and which ones do you use on your body? Thanks,
Guest guest
-- I haven't any idea why Rashelle doesn't sell the aloe/comfrey gel -- she tucks it in as a freebie with (some?/all?) orders -- however, it lasts a really long time, just a little is all you need..... Guest guest
, I too shuffled between quite a few hospitals and doctors. Right off the bat, I told them I wanted a written copy of the report everywhere I went. I bought a box of those plastic holders and a small binder and put them in in order. Whenever I went to a new doctor/etc, I had the info at hand and offered to share it. By the time I went to the Surgeon, my folder was about 2 1/2 inches thick. He asked if he could copy it for my file, and of course I said yes. He appeared quite happy that I had all the results in order and he could see exactly what was done. He did, of course, order some of his own tests, but there were several of the more unusual tests he just believed. I really believe that was one of the best decisions I ever made. Maybe it would help you. I do not envy your journey, but I believe you will be much better at the end. Good luck. Guest guest
,Please try calling at s Hopkins in Baltimore the Dept of Gastroenterology. They live and breathe our stuff. My doctor has retired, but I saw the name of one doctor in this websites data base. Also, back in the 1980's and 1990's when I was a patient there, they did not believe in torturing patients with manometry tests (a big + for anyone who doesn't like that test, and you know who you are!). Its also an incredible hospital.
