Guest guest
Thanks Virginia, you are probably right and I do know nothing about this particular diet. And I was joking of course about the cornflakes, I was just comparing it as a stand alone food against cottage cheese. My reaction was based on two things. First everything I have read about dairy products........and the general tendency I have been hearing to go for treatment like diet or whatever....chi machines....and very little about wholistic approaches.....that is all...... If anyone has any specific info they would like to send me about this Dr. Dudwig or anything else I would be glad to take a look. I need to learn a lot more really about the alternative cancer scene.....any help in this would be appreciated...... And thanks Virgina for risking this communication and feedback to me, I appreciate your honesty and truth. I do not mean to be dangerous but when I think of cancer I think of danger itself Mark Sircus Ac., OMD World Psychology http://200.165.133.53/sircus/

Guest guest
To Mark: Mark, all you have to do is search " Dr.Johanna Budwig " on Google ( a good one), and also, just on " flax oil and cottage cheese, and you will know as much as anyone else on the subject. You should read Cliff Beckwith's great contributions to this group about testiminoials on Dr.Budwigs regimen. Guest guest
I like to buy locally if possible but if not I would love some suggestions on websites to purchase from. Hi , The internet - both groups like this one which can offer a wealth of information to you as well as sources for oils which you can find on the internet - have essentially revolutionized access to natural perfumery. I used to find essential oils in spiritual bookstores, " New Age " shops, etc., but the quality and selection available online so far exceeds anything I have found locally that I do all my purchasing online these days. The sites already mentioned are excellent (I would say that the quality on Liberty is not as good as the others though their selection is very large and their prices comparatively low). I would add also McMahon's site if you have a retail license or if you are able to go in with someone who does, as he sells only to retailers. His list of products can be found at White Lotus Aromatics . He also has some wonderful newsletters which describe various essential oils, absolutes and attars. Try this page Essential Oils of India (go to the bottom and choose the newsletter you'd like to read under the heading " The Plants of India " and also visit White Lotus Aromatics Newsletters to read additional newsletters. Guest guest
Hi , I have some personal experience with anti-virals. I have taken both Valtrex and Famvir, and can tell you I suffer no side-effects from either drug. Both my sons also have positive results taking the anti-virals (one is currently on Famvir, while the other Valtrex, but they have each tried both drugs). I understand your concern, and I would be very concerned about any doc with a hands-off attitude. I feel anti-virals have played a big role in my health, and my sons, but my doc is very involved in our care. Plano Re: Re: [autismprotocolaustin]---Questions for Yes, DMPS was prescribed and the possible side affects were the results of its use. Obviously the use is ultimately my decision, so I could so no which I did. It was the fact as stated that they were too busy to receive any correspondence that bothered me the most. Every Dr. that we have seen either calls us for a follow up if there are any concerns of possible side affects or has an open door policy if we have any concerns at all. I've heard of possible set backs with the Antiviral as well. At our last assessment my son had made up 8 months of development in a 3 month period. I'm not willing to take chances of losing that. He is also being treated for metals, candida and food allergies by Dr. Mahoney with great results. The only reason we went to Austin was for Herpes Virus testing and treatment. Guest guest
The Herxheimer Reaction that one can see after starting anti-fungals can also happen as a result of taking anti-virals. FWIW, we didn't see it in my son. Jane On Sep 18, 2004, at 12:17 PM, Logan Falls wrote: > Hi , > I have some personal experience with anti-virals. Guest guest
I'd written down every single bite of food for two and a half years, and that was after several years of entering every bite of food into software. Can you say compulsive?! I had reached the point where it wasn't helpful anymore. It had become a burden and a real time-waster. When I first quit tracking everything I was a little twitchy. I was sure that I might accidentally gain 40 pounds the first week. Nothing happened though. It's been about a year since I quit the food journals and my weight and percentage of body fat have been very stable. The biggest swing was when I got sick and lost 7 pounds. Otherwise, I've been hanging right around 137 pounds and 16% body fat. I still know the calorie and nutrition ratios of everything I eat. I don't write it down anymore but I haven't quite figured out how to turn it off. :-D On 5/20/05, <mpharrison@...> wrote: > , > > A while ago I remember you said that you were not going to write down > what you eat anymore. Guest guest
Sounds like you abandoned the food journal because it took longer to write it down than it did to do it in your head. You have successfully reprogrammed your brain to keep all that information on a running total and now there is no need for a journal. That must surely be a benefit of keeping the journal for so long! Good for you for saving trees! A highly developed " seventh " sense! >>> skwigg@... 05/20/05 12:36 PM >>> I'd written down every single bite of food for two and a half years, and that was after several years of entering every bite of food into software. Guest guest
I've been a lurker here but got a chuckle out of this. I am a CPA and all my life numbers have haunted me! I can remember how much I weighed in middle school, high school, on and on. I can remember all the prices even if I have 100 items in my cart. Really it is pathetic! But since I have the number curse I try to turn it into positive energy such as when I worked retail no need to do a price check just ask Michele <smile>. Also I don't write things down for my food journal just keep track of it in my head I love that personally. Now ask me to remember a name Forget it LOL! Michele T.
