Guest guest
Dentist told me several years ago I had a pre-cancer condition on my gums. I had noticed for a year or two what I thought dead skin cells, white, under bright white light he showed me it was a network of white threads patchy over the gums, he said it shows what is going on in the female organs. Interesting that oral cancer can be an indicator of uterine or ovarian cancer, which I'm statistically at risk for because of not having borne children. He told me to take the horse hormones that alt med people were telling us not to. I knew it was a slow cancer because I had noticed it so long before he did, so I had time to experiment. I adopted the Budwig protocol, or part of it; but what made it go away was a 3 week hiking trip, so I'm convinced lots of sunshine vitamin D and lots of exercise -- getting the lymph moving - was the key more than Dr. Budwig's omega 3s. A month after the trip it came back, but I was no longer getting any Vit D or exercise. Since then -- we're taking close to ten years now, it comes and goes, when it comes back I take it as a sign of neglecting my body and resume D (LOTS of D) and exercise, and it diminishes or goes away again. I CANNOT yell you my symptom or experience has anything to do with yours. I CAN tell you if you think you may be dealing with a cancer, study cancer. Personally, I am convinced cancer is just a failure of the immune system. D and exercise are both important for the immune system. Iodine is important, both as a topical and as part of bodily health. Getting rid of sugar (and starches, they are just sugar) is important because sugar is what cancer eats. What I'm suggesting is, yes use the iodine, but don't stop there, work on all aspects of your immune system. This spot may be the impetus to get you healthier habits of many kinds that give you better health in many ways. > > I went to my dentist today and he told me I have a spot behind my > front teeth that is an abnormal cell growth. Guest guest
Oh my goodness, I have this all over my gums, the roof of my mouth and bottom teeth. It is spider webby and whitish looking. I also have little polyps all over the roof of my mouth and nowsongs on the inside of my bottom gums. They don't really do anything, but they do get a little irritated if I eat rough foods like chips. I do not take any kind of iodine yet, so for me it has nothing to do with it. It's been getting worse for over a year. My dentist didn't even really notice, and suggested I had sjogrens since I have dry mouth. I thought he was going to take one look and immediately notice it was very odd looking. Actually turns out I have Lyme and other possible co-infections for the past 6 years. I dont know if that has anything to do with besides that my immune system is completely dysfunctional. I'm concerned now that cancer was mentioned...it's been in the back of my mind. I do have thyroid issues, and general lady issues that havent been sorted out yet. A lot to think about. You're not alone there. Whatever it is I have it too. I've researched everything from fungus, to yeast, and allergies. Haven't been able to find anything similar. I'm thinking I'll see another dentist now. Great info. > >> > >> I went to my dentist today and he told me I have a spot behind my > >> front teeth that is an abnormal cell growth. Guest guest
Debbie,Research DIM for reducing your estrogen levels. Black Cohosh is supposed to help balance hormones but DIM is used specifically to reduce estrogen. Lora Price248-399-9014Berkley, MI I'm not quite sure who is not taking iodine yet, but I AM! :)Does anyone have an opinion about whether the Lugols is as good orbetter for rinsing my mouth in this situation as the chorhexidinegluconate?I usually take my iodine all at once in the morning. I've startedtrying to let it slosh on the spot behind my teeth and then not rinsemy mouth. (Yuck.)I've tried to put some full strength on the spot topically, but it'sa hard spot to reach. A q-tip works, but soaks up so much precious, expensive iodine My finger doesn't work very well. I have to turnit upside down to get to the spot, and the drop of iodine runs off.I agree that fibroids are fed by estrogen. I started the iodine hopingit would be one more thing to help me get my estrogen levels down. Sofar no success with that.I've been trying lots of other things too. If anyone has some greatestrogen reducing tips, please email me or let me know in the offtopic group. Thanks,Debbie

Guest guest
Hi Kathleen. I am not taking iodine yet because I just joined the group and choose to educate myself a bit more before starting anything new. I have major toxicity issues, so I have to tread lightly. I have learned that the tortoise wins the race. That's where I'm at. I was simply stating that I have the same issue and am not on iodine so it is probably not iodine related. > > > >> > > > >> I went to my dentist today and he told me I have a spot behind my > > > >> front teeth that is an abnormal cell growth.
