Guest guest Posted March 27, 2012 Report Share Posted March 27, 2012 Hello Everyone, I need help with the following: I'm the one who had problems taking high dose of Iodoral due to throat tightness and weird pain. I am scheduled to have a kidney CT scan with contrast and am very worried about having a bad reaction. I know that people have a reaction to the dye, not the iodine but does anyone know if I have to worry about the whole thing? Since I can't even take 12.5 Iodoral, won't the iodine they inject in me have even worse effect? Should I not take iodine for a few days before and after to clear out what they will inject me with?
