Guest guest
Hi all, I am currently taking around 12 Drops per day of Lugols 7% / 5% dissolved into my breakfast milk although I did go through about a week where I was taking around 24 drops which I had to scale back on. I am taking the following supporting nutrients along with it:- Magnesium Citrate - 300mg Milk Thistle - 8580mg (Providing SILYMARIN 200mg) Selenium Complex: Selenium-200ug VitA-200ug VitE-400ug Vitamin C ~ 3 Grams daily I am using processed (White) Sea salt when needed as the Raw Celtic kind wasn't available - is there a big difference in the way these work? I'm very keen to make this detox work, I'm seeing some improvements - however I'm feeling something I can only describe as a rolling/cycling pain that comes and goes in my back/sides that I never really had before. I attribute it to either my kidneys or liver possibly processing bromide, not sure which. The pain is not always in the same place though, sometimes higher on one side just below my rib cage, sometimes lower on the other side just above the top of my hips. Before I began the detox I had some symptoms of Autism (With Schizo-typal traits) which I'd hoped to improve through the process. I suffer from Anxiety anyway, but feel that it may be slightly more pronounced either because of, or concomitant with the other symptoms. I am also seeing some Mild surfacing of ACNE on my shoulders/back/upper arms which may be related. Do I perhaps need to think more about whether I'm displacing heavy metals and if I need to deal with those also? I had taken a few ibuprofen over the last couple of weeks also - which I'm aware the liver/kidneys must process as well - can this cause additional strain on these organs while dealing with the iodine detox? Is there something crucial that I'm missing here? Thanks ever so much in advance for any advice you are able to give - I may need to stop taking the Lugols and consult a Doctor if these symptoms don't improve in the next few days. Well at least my brain is still sort of working if I can write this Rgds
Guest guest
The salt is very important, you do not want to use white salt, it has been processed. Celtic or Redmond's can be ordered online if not available locally. I would stop the salt you are using now, it could causing the symptoms.
