It's an artists graphic image. It's not a "real" substance.

[bulk] picture on the guide to supplementing with iodine

I wanted to ask for a while already. What is that fluid on the first page of the guide?

Mine came out beautiful purple colour.

But my Lugols’s is deep earthy brownish red. So it is either a different form a iodine on the picture, or my printer made a mistake, I cannot remember what is looks like digitally…
