Hi Sheila.You already have my results from Genova , I just posted them last week. Sheila i took my second dose onthe afternoon the day BEFORE my test so no Erfa on the day blood was drawn., If you remember i sent e mails asking for advice, Phoned Genova and they said they didn't give this advice then said take it as usual. When i say you have my

Hi , going by your extremely high thyroid function results

and the fact that you are taking 7 grains of Armour, Dr Peatfield telephoned me

this morning. He says that from the messages he has read from you, your results

are far too high - and that taking such a massive dose of natural thyroid

extract will just shut down your system - he thinks you are needing to take so

much NDT because your adrenals are not up to scratch and that you need to cut

down the Armour and raise whatever adrenal supplementation you are taking. If

your adrenals are not up to speed, no amount of thyroid hormone is going to

work. See the attached document to show the other associated conditions that go

along with being hypothyroid that actually stop the thyroid hormone being

utilised properly. If you are not taking any adrenal supplements you should get the

24 hour salivary adrenal test from Genova to see what level of cortisol and

DHEA you are putting out at four specific times during the day but if you are

taking NAE, you should stop this for two weeks before you have the test. Is there any chance you could get an appointment with either Dr

Peatfield or Dr Skinner. Dr P has a clinic at my cottage 22nd to 24th February

(Nr. Skipton in Yorkshire) if there is any chance you could get up here, but

you would have to let me know as a matter of urgency because I only have two

places left, and they are likely to go within the next 24 hours. Now telling me that you took 3 grains of Armour before your blood

test explains a lot. You must contact Genova Diagnostics immediately via the

Email they sent to you and tell them that you had taken 3 grains of Armour

before your afternoon test and you know that T3 peaks in the blood a couple of

hours or so after taking it, so this would have made the results flawed. Ask

them if there is a possibility they could send you another kit and do the test
