I have been hypo for about 12 years now and was on levo only with all the usual symptoms still. Now have been on NDT for a year and a lot better - in all that time have never had trouble with hairs on chin - lack of it on legs arm and underarms! - but not on chin. As for age, I am nearly 60 - but then again, everyone is different. I know a few women moan that they have more facial hair as they get older but I always thought this was down to hormones? No doubt someone on here will know and put us right. Sorry cant be of more help.

I have this same problem with facial hair and I'm 27. From what I've been led to

believe, facial hair is a symptom of too much cortisol in the body which points

toward difficulties with the adrenals/pituitary.

Hi, yes i have a little bit of fine hair on the chin. it was triggered

when i started my menopause.! i have come to the conclusion that it is to much

testosterone or even the other male hormone aldersterone.

i don`t like mine much i shave it of most days. i apply some face cream and use

a disposable razor. Angel.
