Guest guest
I would add another 12.5mcgs in the evening, and keep a record of how you feel. You can keep adding 12.5mcgs every 2 to 3 weeks until you find your symptoms are at last going away. If you take too much T3, about a couple of hours after you have taken an increased dose, you might feel palpitations, feel very hot, sweaty, dizzy, strange 'spaced out' feeling and jittery - symptoms of hyPERthyroidism. Don't worry about this, just don't take any more T3 that day and the following day, drop your dose by 12.5mcgs and stay on that. These hypert. symptoms will start to disappear in a couple of hours or so, so just take it easy. Luv - Sheila I have heard back from Dr. P who now says to stop T4 altogether and to up T3 a bit to whatever leven I am comfortable with. I am taking at the moment 12.5mcg 7am and 12.5mcg 1pm. Should I add an extra 12.5 in the evening or increase the morning by 12.5 see how that goes then the lunch time one. Also what symptoms am I likely to feel once I go over the level that is best for me? Thanks Sue No virus found in this message. Guest guest
Thank you Sheila much appreciated. Wonder if you can help me with one more thing. Since increased my T3 by adding in the evening, I notice I feel better for it but my temp has dropped. I used to be between 36.30 and 36.66 during the day dropping to just below 36 evening. Now this morning and lunchtime my temp is 35.36 was also low last night. I am not taking any T4 anymore that gradually reduced and I stopped it prior to taking evening T3.In myself, apart from feeling a bit cold occasionally I feel better than when on T4 only and noticeably better than when taking T3 morning and lunchtime, so the evening one helps but I am just concerned about low temp. Will this pick up on its own do you think? Thanks Sue > > I would add another 12.5mcgs in the evening, and keep a record of how you > feel. Guest guest
This could be because you may be suffering with low adrenal reserve. Check out the 'Adrenal Questionnaire' in our FILES SECTION under the folder entitled 'Adrenal' or you can find it also in the Folder entitled 'Medical Questionnaires'. Give answers to these questions and see how you score. You would need to address this if you are suffering with low adrenal reserve. Let us know how you score Sue. Low temperature is usually adrenal related. Luv - Sheila Wonder if you can help me with one more thing.
