Guest guest
There are many ways to do this. I like to press hard with my thumb or finger and do some Life Lift breaths at the same time. I just watched the final edit of the Reflexology video and I did it along with the video. I felt so alive and yet relaxed when I was finished. I included the face reflexology on the video and I found that it felt the best I have ever experienced after doing the full foot and body Reflexology workout. It was less than 20 minutes from start to finish and I just felt revived. I would recommend that you all take a few minutes to do some each day. What a terrific feeling. I feel like I was given a new body. I usually do some daily, but rarely have I done the full workout with Life Lift. You know how so many of you keep saying you're hooked on Life Lift. Well, I am hooked on doing the complete workout every day from now on! Yowee! it feels good. Guest guest
I have been doing reflexology for over 20 years. I have found that when doing it on yourself it is easier to use a pencil with an eraser to push on the pressure points. Use the eraser end. This way you can really get to that spot and work it better. For some reason it is harder for me to press the spots on myself. When working on others I use my own fingers or thumb because I can feel their tensions better with my fingers. Just a suggestion to add to this subject. Guest guest
Hi Karma, Great idea. I actually came up with a little invention a while back that helps with that. It has grippers with something to do the pushing into the Reflexology points. Oh, boy, don't get me started. I will have to find someone to create these for us. I agree it is so much easier if you have something to push. I never tried the pencil, or eraser, sounds like a super idea. You are always full of great ideas. It is so great! Guest guest
Hi , I saw the title of your post, and had to read it right away. I am hooked on reflexology done with the Life Lift breaths. Regardless of what I am feeling, a stomach ache, a backache, excessive stress, whatever, I find a few Life Lift breaths along with pressure applied to the proper points and I feel like a new woman. Some have reported weight loss when they do nothing but the reflexology video with Life Lift so it has many benefits. I find that connecting the extra oxygen with the specific point can be incredibly healing. A good thing to do is to search on the bottom of your feet for tender spots, press and do some Life Lift breaths with it. I hope this helps, I really believe it can be a powerful healing tool. Speaking of your area I'm taking Jaclyn too Chicago tomorrow at Navy pere We wanted to do it this summer ran out of time and friend and her daughter also going shopping and lunch taking the metro from Kenosha, any great places for lunch? Weather shall be nice The trees are so gorgeous this way!! Are you talking Rolfing??? talk soon R Reflexology Hi , You are the special one my dear. I've had 2 full body massages over the past 6 weeks; and I decided my next treat to myself will be a reflexology massage; this place has 2 types; the basic reflexology massage which is gentler; and there is another one that is deeper/harder pressure (I can't think of the name of it). Now to decide which I'm ready for. Any ideas? , my husband and I spent our 25th Wedding Anniversary 2 weeks ago out near LaCrosse. Gosh your trees out there are unbelievable in color already. Here in Chicago, they are just starting to turn colors. Fall is just so full of warm colors! Guest guest
Well you picked a fantatic day to come downtown Chicago. The parade and rally for the Chicago White Sox starts at Noon. The parade will be on LaSalle Street which you'll pass on your way to Navy Pier. If you are still here in the evening; look up at our skyline; lots of buildings have their lights on which spell out Sox; Sox Pride; etc. It is awesome. (okay can you tell I'm a huge White Sox Fan!) I'm sure your daughter will love seeing and/or going on the huge Ferris Wheel; I think it fits 6 people. It is absolutely beautiful and at night it just illuminates the sky. Lots of dining places throughout Navy Pier too. Enjoy! I can't wait to hear about your day. Barbara was wonderful and sent this on shortly after I asked for her suggestions.. I am hoping the photo will go through. If not please feel free to email me and I will send it to you directly. Hello Rashelle, I'm including a photo that shows where the elbow reflex is on the bottom of the foot. It's a hip reflex/bowel reflex and elbow. The little boy in this photo had a large tumor in his left elbow. His foot displays the bumpy protrusion and it was only on his left foot as the left foot corresponds to the left side of the body. One session and he was able to sleep without pain meds the very first night. His right foot had no bump. Thought you might be interested in seeing this for yourself. Barb Barbara A. Guest guest
Hi I LOVE reflexology. We have someone on the list who is a reflexologist; not sure if she is still here or not; but if so I hope she can answer your question. I have a Reflexology book she recommened and it is amazing. Besides doing my own work on my feet and hands and ears; I have it done once in a while by a reflexologist; she does it only on the feet. I look forward to hearing some ideas and answers on your question. I just love doing it. I have been doing the DVD for a few years now; with all good coming from it. Good to hear from you Chris! Guest guest
I am NOT a reflexologist - But my MOM is and a massage therapist - both licensed over 25 years. Anyway - Mom always told me - you can NEVER do it WRONG - Touch/Rub for spots - when you find a tender spot - that is usually an accupressure point - massage GENTLY in that spot - and BREATHE it will pull oxygen to that area - and heal it faster than just one or the other. CAUTION - it should NEVER, EVER HURT - if it HURTS - either you have an injury or you are doing something wrong. (and you cannot just rub gently wrong lol) The biggest thing to remember - is when you are doing stuff like this - it is kinda like prescribing for yourself - so you have to take that into account - and either pay attention to your body - or seek out a doctor, naturopath, or other health care practioner. Guest guest
Hi Connie! I am soooo excited you did the Reflexology before bedtime. It is so simple and so quick and so incredibly wonderful isn't it? You bet I did mine. My metabolism works way better when I do the reflexology dvd each day. When I become a slacker and don't do it as often; my metabolism slows way down. I felt so fabulous yesteray after my Haines Spa; and afterwards I gave a presentation and I was on fire! (in a good way) The feedback I got was wonderful. Remember I did my LL breathing all the while during the time it took to use the body wrap products. It is amazing how doing something so simple; and something we can fit into our lifestyle no matter our goofy schedules; and look at the results! Well Connie; let's do our Reflex again tonight? Count me in. Love! Wanda > > Hi group, Did my LL reflexology last nite before bed and slept like a baby and woke up refreshed. Did you do yours? What did you do and how do you feel? Hugs, Connie >
