However, there are other reasons why one can have a normal TSH with high levels of free T4 and free T3 - which can be caused through drugs: e.g. heparin, amiodarone etc. Anti-iodothyronine antibodies; anti-TSH antibodies; familial dysalbuuminaemic; hyperthyroxinaemia (FDH); thyroxine replacement therapy (including non-compliance; non-thyroidal illness; acute psychiatric disorders; TSH-secreting pituitary tumour (thyrotropinoma);resistance to thyroid hormone (RTH) - see http://www.bioscilibrary.com/resource/summerschool/2006/ss06/ss06_gur.htm Luv - Sheila My tests always look Hyper i think this is why i was stuffed full of Carbimisole. No doubt i was overactive or maybe hashies. But at the start of all this they kept throwing up there hands and shaking there heads in amazment at the numbers.
