Guest guest
Hi to all I've just returned from holiday and now have my hair analysis results. I'd be grateful if someone more knowledgeable than me would cast an eye over them. Before I post that list I have another question. Whilst in India I was ill with a lower respiratory infection which led to me being in intensive care for a couple of days with a temp of 104 and a very fast heartbeat. The hospital tested everything they could think of including thyroid levels and these were t3 1.850 ref 0.520 - 1.850, t4 11.200 ref 4.800 - 11.600 and finally tsh 3.400 ref 0.390 - 6.160. I'm on 25 mg levothyroxine and have been for nearly two months. Are these levels ok? I'm hoping my endo will up my dose as I'd like to have a tsh nearer to one. Now for the hair analysis - sorry for the length Aluminium 2.6 ref <=17.3 antimony 0.007 ref <=0.016 arsenic <dl ref <=0.080 Barium 0.41 ref <=1.70 Bismuth <dl ref <=0.178 Cadmium 0.008 ref <=0.022 gadolinium <dl ref <=0.0005 lead 0.096 ref <=0.700 mercury 0.22 ref <=1.32 nickel 0.09 ref <= 0.55 rhodium 0.0002 ref <=0.0005 rubidium <dl ref <=0.040 thallium < dl ref <=0.0004 tin 0.043 ref <=0.149 uranium 0.0257 ref <=0.0057 Cadmium Gadolinium Lead Mercury Nickel Rhodium Rubidium Thallium Tin Uranium Calcium 361 ref 192-1,588 Chromium 0.07 ref 0.01-1.58 Cobalt 0.001 ref 0.001-0.129 Copper 18 ref 8-136 Iron 6.2 ref 5.2-24.4 Magnesium 29 ref 11-122 Manganese 0.05 ref 0.04-1.93 Molybdenum 0.02 ref 0.01-1.24 Phosphorus 145 ref 104-206 Selenium 13.06 ref 0.58-1.13 Strontium 0.73 ref 0.01-4.40 Sulfur 51,772 ref 41,781-60,894 Vanadium 0.014 ref 0.003-0.108 Zinc >243 ref 119-245 Lithium <dl ref <=0.302 Potassium <dl ref <=
