Happy New Year all!

I couldn't open the link in Sheila's post but went to my supplier - Anglian

Water and their website shows what they do with the water! Glad to say no

Fluoride in my area - but I can smell a lot of chlorine and always filter mine.

Here in Bristol the smell of chlorine is often very strong. I have lived in

many parts of the UK and this is by far the worst anywhere. Interestingly, on

the company website, Bristol Water admits that many people complain about the

strong smell of chlorine. However, they obviously aren't responsive to their

customers' concerns as they just quote how many parts per million they use.

So I have a water filter too. My lodger goes to the local university and told

me the other students had noticed that the filtered water she fills her bottle

with smells and tastes better. They can tell the difference when they all take

the lids off their bottles of water brought in from home.
