Guest guest
I find people often confuse the two. If you say, " I am hypothyroid " , they think you are " hyperthyroid " , or then they ask, " which is which? " These days I always say, " low thyroid " . Guest guest
I always remember it by saying PO is LOW. So of course the other one must be high. What is the most confusing is when someone says they are hypa. Lilian
Guest guest
Blame those mistooks on the transcript stenographers. At times it was very difficult to hear and for people who know nothing about thyroid disease, it is very easy to believe you heard hypothyroidism instead of hyperthyroidism or vice-versa. There are one or two places where this occurs. Keep plodding on . Luv - Sheila Hi -either my brain is going to sleep or the repeated use of hyper instead of hypo is wrong?
