Guest guest
You need to increase your dose of whatever thyroid medication works best for you until you have found the dose that takes away your symptoms, whether thyroidless or still have a functioning thyroid and you should increase your dose on a regular basis, but for T3 only, you should do this about every 3 to 4 weeks if there have been no adverse reaction to any previous increases in your T3 med. With levothyroxine only, it takes up to 6 weeks for the thyroid hormone to be fully utilised in the body, so increases would need to be done over a longer period. Most people find increasing natural thyroid extract every 3 to 4 weeks works fine too.
