Guest guest
is absolutely right about the protein. I didn't know this during my first pregnancy and I was sooo nauseous and tried for the first four months (nausea and fatigue compound each other). This time I kept protein in my belly at all times, and as long as I did that, I felt OK (or at least better than last time). I found Power Bars to help - they're a good combination of protein and sugar. Also, eat a high protein snack right before bed - that way nausea won't be too bad in the morning. During my first pregnancy I found Sea Bands somewhat helpful (available in drug stores - they're sold for people who get motion sickness - you wear them on your wrist - they look like funky 1980s sport bands - but they apply pressure to certain acupressure points). I didn't need them his time.
