Guest guest
Helen, sadly, all they will do is to refer any such questions to the Royal College of Physicians and the British Thyroid Association who will pass back to them the drivel they have been giving to us and the endocrinology specialty for years, and there will be no change. I have got to the point where I give up with the Government, there is absolutely no point in complaining about the RCP and BTA anymore, because they will ONLY take what information they need from those two organisations, and neither organisation has any responsibility to the Government whatsoever. The BTA are not appointed by the Government or anybody else. Luv - Sheila 'Spreading innovation in the NHS: call for evidence and ideas' There are links for how to contact them on this page: http://www.dh.gov.uk/health/2011/07/innovation-call/ I'm going to be writing to them, asking that they *please* look at the evidence for prescribing T3 or NDT to hypothyroid patients; and that they also look at the evidence for a treatment requirement of TSH higher than ten in hypothyroidism. Also the evidence for treating this complaint by symptoms rather than by TSH test results. cheers x H No virus found in this message.
