Dear TPA member,

I thought I should drop you a note following the pleasing outcome of the GMC hearing in November where my restrictions were lifted; I have in fact made this notification in the World Thyroid Register www.worldthyroidregister.com where I will be soon presenting the first action on this matter which is a representative letter to go to many bodies and embracing many parties and names from UK, Europe, USA and China.

I would like to sincerely thank all the TPA members who took the time to come to Manchester for the hearing which involved considerable expense and I am well aware that none of us at any time during this whole circus of catastrophe over many years, have had financial assistance for travel or accommodation; these were difficult times and I am very grateful to you and proffer my sincere thanks for your support during these years.

There is much work ahead and I will try to keep you informed through TPA and the World Thyroid Register. I regret that notwithstanding a staggering volume of academic evidence patients are still continuing to be undiagnosed or under treated following diagnosis or not provided with the necessary thyroid medication by their professional carers.
