Guest guest Posted January 26, 2012 Report Share Posted January 26, 2012 Hi, I got the result of my oestradiol blood test and the professor I'm attending is thinking of starting me on an oestrogen patch. A few years ago, in the throes of menopause, my G.P. felt I needed HRT but said he couldn't give it to me. I agreed. I'm not good at taking most meds. I'm 52 years old and have M.E. for the past 25 years. I also have Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia and arthritis. I'd appreciate if somebody could comment on the result as it appears very low. Is there a natural oestrogen that you'd recommend or do you feel an oestrogen patch would be okay? The result was: Oestradiol 45.70 (71.6 - 520.2) Follicular (204.8 - 786.1) Luteal (234.5 - 1309.0) MidCycle < 118.2 Post Menopausal Many thanks in advance.
