Guest guest
Hello > I believe J knows about dr Hertoghe, as Ive read that she has been a patient of his. I am Chris(topher)! :-) [ie, he, not she!] >I was wondering if it would e worth my while going to Brussels to see dr H. Would I need to be there for a couple of days? or just one day? You need to have two appointments initially:: one to go over symptoms and blood tests and one to diagnose and prescribe etc. If you are coming from far away then it's probably easier to have the two appointments together, back to back, that's what I did and I think most do when going from another country. If you can cope with the travelling and the plane times permit, you could go back the same day? Prior to the appointment you would need to contact the laboroatory in Belgium who'll send you out all you need (blood test vials), then you get the bblood drawn and sent back to Belgium. >Could the person who has seen dr H in Belguim please tell me if I would need to stay in Brussels or back same day, as above - if you can cope with the travelling then you can go back the same day. > also how can I do the bloods before Ive seen him if he would have to see me to know what to test me for. they test for about 50 different things initially - there's a standard set of blood tests which probably cover most thingns they need to know. >My illness has got lots of other parts to it to numerous to mention here, but I would be so grateful if some one could get back to me. do you feel they are related to hormones and vitamins/minerals? http://www.hertoghe.eu/patients/ Chris(topher)
Guest guest
Awe , what a lovely thing to say, and we are always very happy to receive donations. Contact Dr P again and make an appointment to telephone him next Wednesday, he only takes calls all day on Wednesdays and concentrates on those alone on that day. What does your own GP recommend about your low oestrogen and testosterone levels? What are your levels of Progesterone. Whatever medications Dr P recommends you can usually buy from Nutri Ltd., but only by giving the TPA reference number when you place an order. They do not take orders from the general public. Go to our FILES SECTION thyroid treatment/Files/ and scroll down to the folder entitled 'Discounts on tests and Supplements' and in the list that opens, scroll down to Nutri ltd. There you will see that TPA members can get 33% discount but follow the instructions there. You will also see there 'Genova Diagnostics' where you can order thyroid, adrenal, candida tests and also get a discount after telling them that 'Thyroid Patient Advocacy' is your medical practitioner. They send the results to you, and you post them on the forum so that we can help with their interpretation. Look forward to your blood test results coming through. Luv - Sheila Thanks so much for your reply Sheila,Ive only just found it. I have very low estrogen & testorone levels. Im thinking of seeing Dr P, but where would I get the medication from as when I spoke to his secretary she pointed out that Dr P doesnt give prescriptions and that he is a nutritional adviser, would he write down all I need? would I have to order on the internet? also he doesnt do telephone consultations anymore so if I needed to speak to him would it be possible. I will post my blood results at a later time. I think the knowledge you have on this subject is outstanding and you are so helpful, as soon as I am able I would like to make a donation to TPA UK the rest of the team who answer peoples questions a big thank you too. Warm Wishes to all. Behan. No virus found in this message.
