Guest guest
This is just an fyi really - I too am trying Lufenuron - i started it on Friday. So far, no bad effects, which is good, though my brain is slow and time is dragging so much at the moment. i don't feel bad as such though. There were a few people who were considering lufenuron, so i thought i'd let you know if i have any good or bad experiences with it. I have also been advised to take 5g of starflower/borage oil a day, with Vitamin E, to combat major sugar cravings. Also, to take 1mg of Chromium a day too. Also, i'm taking a short course of Vitamin K2 (it's linked to insulin, right?). My sugar cravings were completely out of control so I had to do something. So far, sugar cravings are better - i haven't eaten any cholate today (quite an achievement for someone who can get through 3 bars a day easy, half a pound of jelly babies etc etc). I have no cravings for sugar and my hypoglycemia is better, too. Everything was way out of control. I have no way of knowing what might be helping, due to the shotgun nature of my approach. I just knew i had to do something, so i'm doing what i can. i'm thinking it's either candida or insulin problems, or maybe both. If anything noteworthy happens with regards to the lufenuron, i shall report it... Chris

Guest guest
Thanks for the report, and yes, please keep us all updated. I am very interested in Lufenuron, had it actually ordered, but the order got lost. I got my money refunded, no problem - but after browsing around on their website and reading some frightening accounts, I got cold feet for now - still toying with the idea though..... Thanks,
Guest guest
I have done the Lefuneron and 3 weeks of Flucanazole. Bad effects happened on the third week, where I got really nasty 'spots' on the lower half of my face. Just a red raised lump that just wouldn't 'pop' when I squeezed it. Really horrid looking plus head aches. I also noticed that my weight loss ground to a halt when on the programme, but 10 days after taking the last fluconazole I dropped 3lb in 3 days. The good points are that I don't seem to react to sugar any more. I can eat some sweets and I don't get the 'thrush attack alert' any more. The vaginal itching 2 hours after eating sugar. I'm not risking the good bits by starting up on the massive amounts of sugar I used to eat. 2 > > > Thanks for the report, and yes, please keep us all updated. Guest guest
Hi and anybody else thinking of giving Lufenuron a try make sure you take enough fat with it. I dont mean spoonfulls of fat, but you must have alot of fat in a meal before or after taking the Lufenuron for it to work. Lufenuron is only one of 2 " anti fungals " to work for me it was the most powerfull and gave me the best results. I screwed up by not taking enough fat with it and it only partially worked BUT it stll gave me the best results. The only problem now is that my fungi is now resistant to it and it does nothing for me anymore. Im so sad about this as it looked like it was going to cure more and then fell short. The coating on my tongue was almost cleared and i had major die off for about 7 days. Then the die off worn off and the yeast was starting to come back and i realised i didnt add enough fat(i also didnt have any Lufenuron left and hadnt ordered a second round, meaning the concentration in my tissues had dropped too low and it was too late) on one dose of Lufenuron i had 0 fat with my meal so stupid! Then when i realised what had happened i went and got drunk to drown my sorrows cancelling anything postivie that the Lufenuron had done. im not saying you do not have Candida, but i dont know how you managed to eat so many foods containing so much sugar ect (chocolate, jelly babies) without it affecting your stomach. I only have to eat one chocolate bar and i could tell you were abouts the chocolate bar is in my intestines the pain/discomfort is so bad lol. Lastly the only benefit now of me trying Lufenuron and failing is that my yeast is now a weaker version and it does not have the chitin in the outer walls (which is partialy what makes it so strong) as the resistant fungi has transformed into fungi which survies without chitin in its outer walls to stop the Lufenuron working. Also now that i am off adrenal support my immune system doesnt seem as week and so long as im getting enough T3 into my cells(this is a whole other story!) it does seem my body trying to fight the yeast. Whether this is because the yeast is weaker or my immune system is stronger i am not sure. Guest guest
I took my Lefuneron with a fatty meal, namely a full English fried breakfast (I would have had fried bread if I wasn't gluten free), followed by a full fat yogurt that I stirred a couple of tablespoons of double cream into and a handful of nuts. 2 > > Hi and anybody else thinking of giving Lufenuron a try make sure you take enough fat with it. Please keep us all posted 2 on how you are feeling now and over the next couple of weeks and whether or not you are getting the "die off" reaction with cracked lips and all the rest of if....I am most interested. Guest guest
Hi , even with my poor fat content with the meals i still expierenced the worse die off i have ever had, which lasted 7 days (3 days during taking it and then 4 days afterwards, its supposed to stay in your tissues for 2 weeks tho) My lips were also cracked and felt like they were falling to pieces lol had to use vaseline every 30 minutes for a few days. Hi Steve, many thanks for the feedback. If it's any consolation, according to V., when you get this kind of Herx, then at least you can be sure that the Lufenuron is killing off the yeast overgrowth. But she also says on her forum that in her opinion it is impossible to kill off Candida overgrowth for good - I agree with that statement. It'll always come back unless you stick to "clean living" for the rest of your life.... which means sugar free, very low alcohol- and very little grain consumption. According to , however, after a course of Lufenuron the Candida is supposedly weakened for good ..... I am still working up the courage to try it, but I am chicken.... this one email from someone who got so very much worse after taking Lufenuron still sticks in the back of my mind. Guest guest
I took fluconzole as well as the Flueneron. On the 5th (just Flueneron) day I felt fluey, for a couple of days. I didn't get any more reactions till the third week of the flucanazole (started 7th day after the Flueneron) when I got horrendous spots all over my chin. Painful raised lumps that didn't 'pop' , they lasted for a good 10 days. Plus a couple of days of headache. I think its worked because I had a couple of days where my will power was nil and I succumbed to some sweets and high carb foods, yet I didn't get the near enough immediate (within 2 hours) vaginal thrush which I have always had before. Even sex is thrush free. One side effect from the fluconazole seems to have been a lowering of my immune system because I now have a stinking cold. I did expect something like this though. I would say the combination of treatments has been a success. Lefuneron, Fluconazole and a low sugar/low carb diet. 2 > > > Please keep us all posted 2 on how you are feeling now and over > the next couple of weeks and whether or not you are getting the " die > off " reaction with cracked lips and all the rest of if....I am most > interested. > > Thanks, > > >
