Hi Tammy - list sent to you.

However, you would need to ask these doctors before making an

appointment with them, whether or not they recommend natural thyroid extract

and Erfa 'Thyroid' in particular. My own NHS endocrinologist recommends it and

my GP prescribes it

Luv - Sheila

Hi Sheila and all,

Please would some body send me a list of ERFA prescribing endo's.

Paying or NHS!

My FT4 and FT3 are beautifully in the mid 'normal' range but TSH suppressed, I

feel great on 3 grains....but 'it's unlicensed, your bones will crumble and you

are thyrotoxic with suppressed TSH'....that old chestnut again!

Thanks all, I haven't been on here for some time as this forum has given me

back my life!

Thanks and HNY to you all.

Tammy

have a cough that is going to be the death of me. I am going to move to

'unlicensed' EFRA but am on my fifth endo and haven't managed to get EFRA

prescribed yet!

Would someone let me know where to buy EFRA and send me the Endo list as I will

try and change again but don't hold out much hope!

thanks Isabel

Isobel, up until 10th January, we could all buy Erfa 'Thyroid'

from www.valuepharmaceuticals.com

but now they require a prescription with all orders. However, never fear - we

have other reputable Internet Pharmacies where you can buy other brands of

Natural Desiccated Porcine Thyroid Extract. Go to the FILES SECTION from the

Home Page of this forum http://health.grouops./group/thyroid treatment

and click on FILES. On the page that opens, scroll down to 'Internet

Pharmacies' and you will see what you can buy without prescription, the

pharmacies and the cost.

Also in the FILES SECTION, check out the FOLDER entitled

'Natural Thyroid Extract' and there you will find a document entitled 'How to

Use Natural Thyroid Extract'.

I will send you a list of recommended doctors who will prescribe

some form of T3, either synthetic or natural thyroid extract but will send this

privately.

Hi Sheila,

I would really appreciate it if you could also send me the list of

recommended doctors who will prescribe T3. I have recently started T3

only (suggested by Dr P) as having problems with NDT and my order from

valuepharmaceuticals at £1 per tablet counting the postage that i was

charged!!!

Have been a member for a while but had problems with my and now am

so glad that I am back in and able to converse with everyone in UK!

Thanks for all you are doing here :)

Hi Isabel,

Don't give up, order now if you can. I placed an order on the 31st Dec, it's

only been dispatched, however it takes time to switch from synthyroid to ERFA,

but it really did the trick for me.

And as said before, there are other brands from other sites, but I personally

like Erfa,

Good luck, don't give up! Tammy

Sent Pam. However, how have you worked out that NDT from

valuepharmaceuticals costs £1.00 per tablet, even with the postage. That would

mean they cost over £500 plus…. but we only pay about £90 for 500

tablets.

Hope you are doing OK on NDT now.

Hmmm! - at least, I tried to send you the doctors list but then

found you have registered for this forum and opted to hide your email address,

so sorry Pam, I cannot send it. You are not allowed to hide your email address

on this group, so please go to the Home Page of this forum and click 'Edit

Membership' near the top of the page, towards the left, and then add your email

address. Once you have done that, let me know and I can then send you

information.
