Guest guest
Hi al, I've received the results from the 24 hr saliva test that I did in November 3 weeks after becoming hyperthyroid from too much T4 medication. I'd be grateful for any advice and comments : Free cortisol rhythm: 6 - 8am 41 (13-24 nM) - elevated 11 - 1 pm 9 (5-10 nM ) - normal 4 - 5 pm 7 (3-8 nM) - normal 10- midnight 4 (1-4) - normal Cortisol load 61 (23-42 nM ) DHEA pooled value >25 (3-10ng/ml) - elevated Fasting insulin <3 (3-12 uIU/ mL ) Non fasting insulin <3 (5-20 uIU / mL) P17- OH progesterone 65 (normal) ( optimal 22-100 pg/ ml) Total salivary SIgA 9 ( normal 25-60 mg/ dl) - depressed what should I do with these results? Should I ask for a copy to be stored on my medical file or is it likely that my GP/ Consultant will dismiss the evidence as being irrelevant?
