Hi all,

Saw Dr P yesterday and he recommended I take DHEA. Was wondering where people

have found the cheapest high quality source of this hormone?

Your advice on this is much appreciated.

Thanks,

J

I have bought melatonin from this company and it was good, they also do DHEA:

It doesn't take long to get dispatched. Did Dr Peatfield not suggest a

source/brand?

Ok thanks Chris.

We had a lot to get through so I forgot to ask where to get the DHEA and he

didn't mention anywhere in particular. I think there is a list of pharmacies

with the stuff he gave me, not sure if it's the cheapest place though, doesn't

include that nice cheap mexican place for T3!

Do you think it would make much difference? Anyone know what brand of DHEA Dr P

recommends / where to get it?

Best wishes,

J

Hi J,

Glad to hear that you have been able to see Dr P.

I have been getting our DHEA from here: www.biovea.com

However, the 25mg is proving to be too high a dose for my daughter as it appears

to be going down the tesoterone conversion route rather than the oestrogen

route. So, I have split the capsules into 5mg doses.

I have just ordered a smaller dose through iHerb - this is also a sublingual

tablet which we are going to try. I am also putting in 7-keto DHEA.

Did Dr P recommend a particular dosage?

All the best,

Ok, I'll try that site.

Would there be a problem in using just the 7-keto version?

Hmm I see. Yes, just looked at Dr P's handout and it says something about the

7-keto DHEA version being most suitable for women. Not sure if it matters to me

as a guy? Looks like perhaps the dosages are different too. Not sure, but the

handout also says 50mg is normally a minimum dose of the 7-keto.

Yes, he recommended I start on 25mg then up to 50mg after a few weeks. He

didn't tell me to get the 7-keto so I suppose I should just get plain DHEA.

Best wishes,

J

Hi J,

I am sure thst you would be fine with just DHEA, especially as Dr P has

recommended it.
