They do say the best doctors are South African. We have had this

discussion a long time ago and it seems they are much better educated in

medical school than they are here in the UK, and the advice really is - if you

have a South African doctor in your area, grab him!

….and your last sentence is why we keep wishing all

endocrinologist would become hypothyroid overnight, or their partner does.

reply so somebody else on the forum (pls. see below).... looks like our Dr. K.

is South African and has a family afflicted with hypothyroidism...

just gets to show – the best thyroid doctors are those who either

are hypo themselves or have family with the condition.
