Infectious Diseases, HIV/AIDS Advisor-India

CEDPA is a nonprofit international organization that has been awarded

a USAID contract to provide Technical Advisors in AIDS and Child

Survival TAACS) to USAID offices overseas and in Washington. This position

requires US citizenship. Security clearance will be required.

Position is located in USAID/India. Incumbent will provide technical oversight

of the Mission's Infectious Disease (ID) interventions relative to uberculosis,

polio eradication and the integration of HIV prevention into reproductive

(RH) and child health in Uttar Pradesh and other states. Will help to develop

strategies and results frameworks for the ID Team and promote cross

linkages to RH and child survival. Responsible for preparing

programming documentation related to her/his portfolio.

Qualifications: Masters, Ph.D., or MD with field experience in internatl

health. Minimum 5 years experience in the design and implementation of health,

HIV and/or family planning programs. Prior developing country experience

preferred. Familiarity in the area of tuberculosis and the TB-HIV interface is

highly desirable. USAID experience highly desirable, exp in Asian preferred.
