HI SHEILA

I have just had a look at this link and I see that there is an answer to my

query about the time difference. I hope they allow me to log on as I terminated

my account with NHS DIRECT.

Hi Sheila

In the 'Talking to doctors' section, one question each was answered by Dr

Kerbel, Perros and Nurse .

In Hypothyroidism, Dr Kerbel answered one, Nurse one or two and the rest

were done by Dr Perros.

Nurse also answered a couple in the other sections.

The other thyroid 'experts' have not posted anything!

Hi Kathleen

I saw their response to you and they suggested you adjust the time on your

computer. I was also curious so thank you for asking.

To do this:

1. Click on the link http://talkhealthpartnership.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=25

2. Click on 'User Control Panel' on the top left hand corner (you may have to

login so enter your username and password.

3. Click on 'Board Preferences' and change the time below to [uTC -1] Azores

Standard Time, Cape Verde Time.

4. Click submit and check your time... it should be correct.

I see Dr Kerbel has now logged in and has answered one question in the 'Children

and thyroid' section.

Love

Keep me informed. Apologies to all members who are wondering

where I am, but I am unable to spend time on our forum as I am busy putting

together a rather long letter to all NHS endocrinologists, RCP, BTA and other

thyroid/endocrine organisations. This involves checking information on the

Internet and hours of reading and I need to concentrate on this and this alone.

If anybody needs me urgently, please write to me privately at

[sheila@...] and I will pick it up.

Luv - Sheila

I see Dr Kerbel has now logged in and has answered one question in the

'Children and thyroid' section.

Jacquie

That it explains it as mine is set to GMT Standard time which is corect time for

UK so does this mean that the Talkheath Clinic is situated in the Azores. The

clinic is closed so I don't think if I log in it will achieve anything.

If this clinic or site is in the Azores do copyright issues come under the UK

Legistration.

If the site is situated in the UK why are they not using GMT Standard time. All

I can say is that I am glad I have the correct time set for UK, as I was

somewhat concerned about getting bollocked for being late for my GP appointment

on Monday.

Jacquie are we the only ones to have noticed this time problem, and all I can

say is our brains are functional if nothing else is.

I would have loved to have given a reply to their response.
