Help with pulse and temp

Hi

in my long quest to stabilise my levels and get well I have a couple more

queries.

I'm always trying to raise my thyroid meds as I am still hypo - although most

doesn't get absorbed and into cells so I get toxic quickly and high levels in

blood. Urine levels low though representing what gets used in cells.

I know all the reasons why - adrenals, vits etc and been working on these for

years.

But, I've never been one of those people whose pulse and temp can really help

determin things. Classically a low pulse and low temp means increase your meds.

But bizarly I can find my pulse and temp drops when in more medication (

dessicated thyroid). And vice versa so doesn't help.

What I've wondered is perhaps when my thyroid is lower the adrenalin builds more

and therefore my pulse gets fast and temp can go higher. With more meds often I

feel more relaxed and even more hypo but feel that's a truer picture of how my

body is but that little extra perhaps has lowered the adrenalin and given a

clearer picture?

I know low cortisol causes adrenalin too but mine is improving and this is

directly linked to med changes.

Even so it's hard to work out. For instance I increased by 1/8 grain again 4

days ago and temp and pulse drop - although temp still build to about 36.9

during day. Often though my temps go high due to toxicity in blood levels - not

cause I'm not hypo. Start of day dropped to 36.3 ish. Before the raise my day

went to 37.1. It's strange! I also wonder if what happens with hasimoto is that

an increase in meds causes a drop in own thyroid production - so overall you get

hormone for a while whikst it rebalanced??but again as ever I never know whether

to raise or decrease?

So ATM feel worse and bit anxious and achey tired - but get this when levels

too much and too little!! Perhaps it does just take time to balance out and I

should leave and aim to increase again?

Does anyone find it's best to get past a point where your own thyroid does not

need to produce anything? I wonder if I've never got past this 'middle' level

and it would get better if I did? Or does anyone get any of these symptoms and

understand more???

Would appreciate some thoughts

thanks

carly
