Guest guest
This would be helpful to me too (I'm in Devon), so if anyone does have any info please post. Thanks x Lynne > > Does anyone know of a dentist in the Somerset/Dorset/Wiltshire/Bath/Bristol area who knows about hypoT/Hashis' and its effects on your teeth/mouth? > >
Guest guest
Check out our last Autumn TPA Newsletter - and listen to what Dr has to say about mercury poisoning caused through amalgam fillings and the effect on the thyroid. He is an excellent Dentist, but he is in Yorkshire, so it would be a long way to travel. However, this is his specialist field and if you telephoned him, he might know of some expert in your area. See http://www.tpa-uk.org.uk/newsletters/newsletter_oct11.pdf Luv - Sheila This would be helpful to me too (I'm in Devon), so if anyone does have any info please post. Guest guest
Although dentists who are mercury-free won't necessarily know about autoimmune illness, they are more likely to be well informed than the average dentist. Try finding one through the British Society for Mercury Free Dentistry: http://mercuryfreedentistry.org.uk/ Miriam > > Does anyone know of a dentist in the Somerset/Dorset/Wiltshire/Bath/Bristol area who knows about hypoT/Hashis' and its effects on your teeth/mouth? > > Two years ago I had a newly qualified young man who did but he left my surgery a year ago and his replacements are clueless and all my previous dentists were too. Apart from wanting someone knowledgeable generally, I've problems now with trigeminal neuralgia so I need them to be clued up! > > Thanks for any suggestions - here or via email. >
Guest guest
Thanks Sheila. I had a problem with a tooth recently and my NHS dentist removed the amalgam filling, I then became quite ill. Saw Dr P who upped all the adrenal support. I thought I should mention that Dr P suggested I leave the other amalgam where it is, as the removal could cause me worse problems. I am struggling to find a dentist who agrees that mercury is dangerous! Will contact Dr . Guest guest
> I am struggling to find a dentist who agrees that mercury is dangerous! Hi Lynne - Dr. Rhidian would agree with you... he removed all of mine and he is (now) my dentist (left someone else for him) - expensive, but very good. If Farnham were within your reach, try http://www.holisticdentalcentre.co.uk/
Guest guest
Thank you Miriam, I will. Funnily enough whilst I was listening to I searched him and got a list of mercury free dentists and wondered then if it was a route to pursue - and there a few in Devon, Lynne! The link I found was: http://www.keytoxins.com/helpyourselftohealth/id26.html Carolyn > > Although dentists who are mercury-free won't necessarily know about autoimmune illness, they are more likely to be well informed than the average dentist. Guest guest
Hello Shelia Is there a transcript of this talk, or has he written something on this topic somewhere else by any chance? I cannot download the quciktime plug-in to be able to listen to this unfortunatley. Mercury/Thyroid connection I am about to explore so would be v interested in what he says. Thanks JT > > > > Check out our last Autumn TPA Newsletter - and listen to what Dr > > has to say about mercury poisoning caused through amalgam fillings > > and the effect on the thyroid. Guest guest
Dear Members I have removed the message giving the name of the dentist Dr K. Dr K has let it be known that he wishes to keep a low profile and therefore, does not give permission to post his name on any Internet forums without his express permission. Please will all members ask permission of their doctors first, and meanwhile, just write their initials. Many thanks. Sheila

Guest guest
- interested to hear if you feel better since your amalgam was removed? Guest guest
> - interested to hear if you feel better since your amalgam was removed?> Thanks, Lynne A big resounding YES from me, Lynne. It made a huge difference to me - no more metallic taste in mouth and much clearer head. If you wanted to use Dr. R... he is good - and he knows about the thyroid and mercury connection, and he has the right equipment - and he is a very, very nice guy.... but - he is expensive. Love,
