From Rick Rollens (Dad of who is on cover of Newsweek/Autism)

For the eleventh straight day, Understanding Autism, the feature article

from last week's Newsweek Magazine remains as the number one story on

MSNBC.com Top 10 list of most reccommended stories. Keeping in mind that the

cover story on autism disappeared off the main page at newsweek.com on

Sunday, July 30, it is amazing to me that so many people are taking the time

to search to find the article.

If autism was as rare as the so-called experts say, and if in deed autism is

not a public health crisis in epidemic proportions, why then are so many

people interested in this " rare " disorder? Iam sure when the numbers are in

on newsstand sales and Letters To The Editor, that the July 31 edtion on

autism will go down as one of the all time best selling editions of Newsweek

with the largest reader response ever.
