New Member - question regarding thyroid and adrenal function

Hello, I've just joined.

Please may I ask if anyone has had their adrenal function tested? I have had

chronic fatigue for 22 years and my thyroid was subclinical for many years.

Approximately 6 years ago I was put onto levothyroxine for an underactive

thyroid that had shown signs of struggling and needed support as it would go

completely under eventually. It still hasn't happened.

The only thing the drug has done is put my weight back to the way it was before

diagnosis which is great. The other numerous symptoms I have though are still

here and seem to be getting worse in some areas. When I get a normal virus etc.

it takes me so so long to get over it. I am covered in freckles and the last

time I got sick with vomiting, they literally disappeared. It took me 2 full

weeks to get over a 12 hour vomiting bug. I scared myself and my family and it

prompted me to go and see the Nurse Practitioner instead of my GP. I am now on

a waiting list for the ME Clinic near to where I live.

I cannot cope with the slightest stress and I mean so slight, I seem to errupt

into a very irrational not at all like me version of myself and it worries me.

I won't bore you with the rest, you will lose the will to live!! I just want to

feel the way I did before all this started.

I'm not saying at all that I have something like 's but I wondered if my

adrenals could be struggling?
