Guest guest
You could try Blue Horizon www.bluehorizonmedicals.co.uk. Tell them that you are a member of Thyroid Patient Advocacy, as we are in the process of arranging discounts for our members right at this moment. Speak to Tel: 0800 0988 751 Mob: 07723317715 Let us know how you get on and whether they actually do a free T3 test on it's own. Hello everyone I just wondered if anyone knows anywhere that I can get my Free T3 tested on its own (without needing to get other thyroid function tests done at the same time). I used to use Lab21 but have just found out they are not doing the tests anymore - very disappointed! If my GP needed to request it or the result had to be sent to him I'm sure he'd be OK about that, but would prefer it to be as simple as possible for my GP if he does need to request it! Ideally though I'd like somewhere the same as Lab21 where I can just send the blood myself and have the result sent directly to me without needing to involve my GP. Thanks very much. Guest guest
Hi Kathleen Thanks for your reply. Surrey research park looks great. I just had a look on their website that you can just go to have blood taken. I live in wales though but will have a look around to see if we have something similar if I have no luck with the blue horizon medicals doing Free T3 on its own. Will give them a ring next week. Thanks again. Love Elle x > I don't know where you live, but I have my FREE T3 blood test at Guildford " SURREY RESEARCH PARK " , >
Guest guest
Hi Sheila I've just e-mailed blue horizon so I'll let you know what they say. Having said that I just looked around again and found another Free T3 test on their website listed as £49.40. That would sound like it would be correct. Above it was the test that said £101.50 and below it the same test for £49.40! Anyway I've asked them to clarify the price for me so I'll let you know when I hear back. It does say the tests are new so I'm assuming they've only just started doing them separately. Guest guest
Hi Sheila I heard back from at Free Horizons and he said the Free T3 tests - one listed for £49.40 and one for £101.50 - are both the same so the cheaper one would be better! I've no idea why there are 2 listed with such a big price difference but anyway good to know you can have it done separately if you want. Thanks for letting me know about Blue Horizons Love Elle x
