Guest guest
Hey Val! Guess what, my order from them (Thyroid-S) arrived today as well, and they added 25% (150 tab instead of 120), too. Royal Mail, however, simply stuffed the letter through my mailbox even though it had a big red stamp on envelope saying 'signature required'.Are you only starting on Thiroyd or are you already on it? I'll hold off with using them (it was a panic buy as I first need to find out about my adrenal function and how to switch from Levo to NDT.Connie>> On 9th feb I ordered 90 x Thiroyd from surplus-thai on Ebay total £12.01 free postage. They arrived today 18th feb from Thailand beautifully packaged and protected in an airmail envelope and they sent me 120 not 90!! Chuffed and think I will try ordering another 90 and maybe they'll send me 120 again because they have them neatly packaged in airtight silver bags with sixty in each. Whatever they send me it is a bargain. They also sell Thyroid-S on ebay.> So far so good and I thoroughly recommend them......>
Guest guest
I ordered 120 Thiroyd tablets from their shop on Amazon.com on the 11th Feb 2012 and used the TPA link! Today (18th Feb 2012) I received my registered air mail letter containing two sealed silver foil pouches in protective cardboard. You first have to tear the top off a pouch and they are resealable. Each one is labelled as containing 75 Thiroyd 60mg tablets, with a barcode and the following information: Lot# 1500032 Mfg Date: 16/Sep/11 Exp Date: 16/Sep/14 Barcode (same on both): 8852294150006 Formula Per Tablet: Thyroid Extract, 60mg Indication: Thyroid deficiency Dosage: 30-150mg or as directed by a physician. Not a weight loss product. Store in a cool dark, dry place A product of Thailand The label has the Greater logo on it. A US customs declaration was enclosed together with an Amazon.com order receipt. I opened one pouch which contains lots of very tiny white tablets - have not counted them. The pouches seem to be vacuum sealed. I did read somewhere that they are giving a few extra tablets with each order. So apparently 150 received for an order of 120. > > On 9th feb I ordered 90 x Thiroyd from surplus-thai on Ebay total £12.01 free postage. Guest guest
Connie, I was handed the envelope along with the other post today. The postwoman said something about sorting the paperwork out when she got back. Must have forgotten to bring the sheet/book for signatures on the round! [snip]You show-off! Just kidding. I didn't know they offered the product on amazon ... Have you checked out their website Thyroid-S ? Only just found the included packaging slip with the link on it. They offer a 'subscription service' - looks like you can get the pills even cheaper (up to 35% it says) if you sign up for a recurring monthly subscription. Lots of info on site. Interesting though that your manufacturing date on your pouch says Sep 2011/14 - on the website it states their current batch is dated 11 July 11 (exp 11 July 2014) and that's what it says on my pouches.Connie
Guest guest
Hi am new here. Have been on levo for about 10 years. 2 kids later am even fatter and have either fibroids or ovarian cysts (waiting for u/s appointment). I am 'allowed' to be slightly over-medicated (200mcg, bloods towards hyper) as I was such a state with pins and needles that I thought I had MS. I self-upped my levo then went and confessed to my GP, who was good about it but did refer me to an endo in Edinburgh. I was patronised out the door when I mentioned armour. Ordered these today after getting myself in a huge tizz with reading, reading, reading about what a mess the whole thyroid scandal is. I need to find out if I can see Dr Peatfield or Dr kinner in Scotland at some point soon, until then I will try this myself. Thanks for the recommendation. > > On 9th feb I ordered 90 x Thiroyd from surplus-thai on Ebay total £12.01 free postage. Guest guest
Connie, I ordered Thiroyd. The dates on their website are only for Thyroid-S (from what I recall). Both products are available on Ebay and Amazon.com. It is supposed to be possible to buy either product via their website at member rates when signed in. The other day I tried signing up but didn't as the sign up page for giving an id and creating a password was not secure (no padlock sign). Both products are on Amazon.com not Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com let me pay in GBP. I saw there is a combination trial pack of 60 Thiroyd and 60 Thyroid-S for $17.49 on Amazon.com as well. Guest guest
Hi, I got some thyroid-s, I got 120 tablets sealed in 2 foil packets. I had to pay tax though, slipped up and got the bigger pack when I should have bought the cheaper one so paid £11 for tax and handling. It came very quickly. I haven't taken any yet as they have just arrived this morning, but they look just like the ones I have taken in the past and I found them to be very good. I intend to take it starting with a quarter as I have been taking out of date pills and they might be a bit stronger than I am used to. I left a message on his facebook site about the tax in the UK(www.facebook.com/ThyroidS)and he has sent me a message to ask about the tax situation as he thought it would get through in a letter. I also asked if he could put together a pack for the UK that had the most tablets he could for £15 and to charge the postage separately, as we don't pay tax on the postage. I mentioned thyroid treatment and asked if he could give us a discount as we are a group of 2,500 patients who don't like taking levothyroxine! love Janet
Guest guest
Welcome to our Forum where I hope you get all the help and support that you need. Are you 100% sure that the pins and needles are not being caused because you could be low in that very essential vitamin B12. You shouldn't be starting with natural thyroid extract until you have checked that your levels of iron, transferrin saturation%, ferritin, vitamin B12, vitamin D3, magnesium, folate, coppe3r and zinc are showing a correct level within the reference range. No amount of thyroid hormone, either synthetic, natural or your own, can be fully utilised at the cellular level until whatever is low has been supplemented. Please ask your GP to check these as soon as possible and let us know the results so we can help with their interpretation. See also in the FILES section - thyroid treatment/files/ in the 'All Natural Thyroid Extract' FOLDER, the document entitled 'How to Use Natural Thyroid Extract'. Any questions, just shout! Guest guest
Hi Connie, It looks like they prepack these pills in certain numbers and didn't think when they listed them on ebay. Or it could be a way to capture us. Whatever they are even cheaper than 1drugstoreonline who I have been using for the past year to buy my Thiroyd and I thought they were cheap. I find that loads of things from abroad that are labelled " signature required " the postman never asks for a signature. Best of luck with your switchover....Val > > Hey Val! Guest guest
Thanks for the welcome. My pins and needles disappeared within 48 hours of upping my dose. I have always suffered from bad circulation and can't have my hands or feet raised for more than a few minutes. I am due a thyroid blood test and will try to get it this week. I can't imagine for a second that my GP will agree to any of those tests but I could give it a shot. What reasons should I give for wanting them? I am scared to approach my GP over natural thyroid as they always just roll their eyes. I started reading through the files last night and will make sure I have had a good look by the time the pills come. > > Welcome to our Forum where I hope you get all the help and support that you > need. Guest guest
We recommend that all members should ask their GP or endocrinologist test the following to see whether any of the results are returned low within the reference range. This is because if low, thyroid hormone is unable to get into the cells, either your own, or through thyroid hormone replacement. Should your GP or endocrinologist tell you that there is no connection between these minerals or vitamin levels and hypothyroidism, then copy the following links out to show him/her. These links show just some of the fresearch that has been done to show of the association. IGood luck! Low iron/ferritin: Iron deficiency is shown to significantly reduce T4 to T3 conversion, increase reverse T3 levels, and block the thermogenic (metabolism boosting) properties of thyroid hormone (1-4). Thus, iron deficiency, as indicated by an iron saturation below 25 or a ferritin below 70, will result in diminished intracellular T3 levels. Additionally, T4 should not be considered adequate thyroid replacement if iron deficiency is present (1-4)). 1. Dillman E, Gale C, Green W, et al.
