Guest guest Posted February 22, 2012 Report Share Posted February 22, 2012 May I please ask your opinion for a friend of mine who has just received the results of her first thyroid blood test - her doctor here doesn't know much about it all but is willing to discuss where to go next and what other tests she may need as she has lots of symptoms of hypothyroidism. Could she have a pituitary problem because of her low levels and if so, what other tests should she ask for? She's often back in the UK, so will book an appointment with Dr.P if necessary. Her results are FT3 2.53 low (2.60-5.70) FT4 11.57 (9 - 19) TSH 1.27 (0.35-4.94) TPO 8.2 (<34) TG Ab 10 (<115) Cholesterol 236 (<200) Thanks and best wishes Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
