Hi,

I have had the following tests completed. I could not get a TgAb test done at

the same as they did not do it.

Haemoglobin A1c (NGSP) 5,9 % 3,8 6,9

Haemoglobin A1c (IFCC) 41,0 mmol/mol20,0 42,0

C-reactiv protein 0,0 mg/L 0,0 10,0

TSH 2,699 uU/ml 0,380 4,310

FT4 15,82 pmol/l 10,50 20,90

FT3 4,83 pmol/L 3,20 5,80

D Vitamin 77,1 ng/mL 20,0 120,0

Anti-TPO 774,0 IU/mL + 0,0 75,0

The last time I had my Vit B12 tested it was at the top end of the range.

Thank you for your advice.

Sorry thank you for your advice. Does the high number mean I have

Hi Helen,

Anti-TPO 774,0 IU/mL + 0,0 75,0

Yes, it does.... you do have autoimmune thyroiditis, also known as Hashimoto's disease.

Best wishes,

hi there, you could possibly take a little more for a short time , say 300per day , but only if you feel under attack. a dose of 200 is save to take and some patients do take a little more, so it is up to you to decide based on how you feel . angel

Hello Helen - please tell us a little more about your history.... are you actually taking thyroid hormone? Have you been diagnosed hypothyroid?

It won't be much help to you to have simply find out that you do suffer from Hashimoto's... if you have any further questions about anything, please just yell - we are all here to help if we can

Warm wishes,
